Just Pies, LLC is a made-to-order pie bakery providing hand crafted sweet and savory pies. Our goal is to create as many meaningful work and training opportunities as possible while serving pies “to die for.”

Modeled after the CSA movement, we are committed to nurturing the direct connection between us and our customers. Customers pre-order and pre-pay for Pie Shares or individual pies, and then we get baking.

We are not experts. We are budding bakers determined to make a living doing what we love, making pies from scratch with the best ingredients and nourishing you. Our dream is to build community around local food, the joy of decadent baked goods, and the exciting possibilities that can occur when ordinary people match creativity to courage.

All of our pies are made from scratch with all natural ingredients. We specialize in all butter crusts made with local King Arthur flour and Cabot butter, fillings made from humanely raised and antibiotic free meat, and local vegetables and fruits. We provide both seasonal sweet and savory pies, either frozen or baked, an “Oh My God” type of product with a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Why pie?
Pie is fashionable. Pie is breakfast, dinner or desert. Pie is silver haired, loving, sweet-scented, old-time grandmothers. Pies mark the season we are in, lemon in Summer, pumpkin in Fall and Pecan in deep Winter. Pie baking is a serious art. Pie is slow food in a too-fast world. Good pie is simple and wholesome and real. Pie is swinging on the front porch or cheering up a friend. Pie is comfort food. Pie is home.
